What a night! The ACRC Bowl Series kicked off in style with great match-ups on Friday evening at the Rugby Athletic Center in Charlotte. Three well-matched pairings made for great viewing - both in person and live streamed worldwide via Goff Rugby Report and Next Level Rugby.
UMass Brings the Heat vs NC State

Notre Dame College Defeats Syracuse
A big statement was made by the Falcons of Notre Dame College in a hard-fought win over the champions of the Empire Rugby Conference, Syracuse University. The Hammerheads were prepared to give no quarter but were bested by the superior speed and tenacious discipline of the boys from South Euclid, OH. At the final whistle it was 33-28 NDC. Read More »
Epic Battle: Boston College Outlasts Alabama
In the night's most dramatic contest, it was a battle of sheer will on the RAC fields as two extremely well-matched teams fought for supremacy. In the one Bowl Series match not taking place in Charlotte, D1 power Delaware meets Iona, who joined the ranks of the nation's elite this fall with wins over Army and Stony Brook, in the #IceBucketChallenge bowl in New Rochelle.
Saturday Nov. 21: Rugby Athletic Center
11:20 St. Bonaventure vs Western Michigan
The Bonnies finished their season on a high note with three consecutive victories. They meet Mid America Conference runner-up Western Michigan, who went undefeated in regular-season play.
1:10 Univ North Texas vs Rutgers
UNT won the Southwest Conference and the Texas Cup. They face a tough foe in Rutgers, who battled through a formidable fall schedule in the Keystone Conference.
3:00 Stony Brook vs Cincinnati
Stony Brook and Cincinnati both scored big wins this fall, the Bearcats over Bowling Green, and the Seawolves over Kings Point. This should be a dramatic, hard-fought match.

Atlantic Coast Rugby League champs (and local faves) Clemson earned the right to play top-ranked AIC in one of the series' most closely-watched games.
