Notre Dame Set To Attend 2018 Ariel Re Bermuda Intl 7s
The University of Notre Dame officially announced their attendance at the 2018 Ariel Re Bermuda Intl 7s [1] tournament next March. Set to play against teams like St. Joe's, Stony Brook and Kutztown, the Irish need to fight hard if they want to go home with the title.
2018 marks Notre Dame's first trip to the island of Bermuda to internationally compete. Despite their reputation for hard-fought wins, the Irish will be facing off against veterans teams and division champs from a variety of conferences.
St. Joe's had a stellar year, closing out as the 2017 MARC D1AA Fall 15's Champions, and their 7s team has always excelled at ball movement and kicking skills in Bermuda. Stony Brook returns for its third year in a row, giving them significant field advantage, looking to make it back into the Finals. In 2017, Kutztown took home the title of champions by defeating the Bermuda All-Stars on their home turf by a convincing score of 33-5. Watch the match » [2]
University of Notre Dame Rugby
The University of Notre Dame Men's Rugby Program strives to play at the highest level of collegiate rugby in the United States. The team is led by Head Coach Justin Hickey.
The Notre Dame [3] are a founding member of the Varsity Cup in 15s and have competed each of the past five summer CRC's in Philadelphia.
Games are played in Fall and Spring on a new artificial turf field, Stinson Rugby Field, and all students at Notre Dame and nearby Holy Cross are eligible to join the club.
2017/2018 Season
Despite a crushing defeat against the Naval Academy on their home field, Notre Dame finished the fall season strong with their 58-7 win over Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA on Nov. 26.
With the mid-season lull underway, the varsity team currently sits 3-5 in their division.

2018 Bermuda International 7s
The 2018 Ariel Re Bermuda Intl 7s [1] host the very best in high school and college rugby at the National Sports Centre, Bermuda’s premier sporting event venue. The March 16-17, 2018 tournament will feature mini teams (ages 9-12), high school teams, collegiate men's and women's sides.
