2018 Tropical 7s Slated for March 30th & 31st

The most recent addition to the rugby 7s tournament is the Tropical 7s which takes place in Orlando Florida! This tournament is open to both youth programs as well as collegiate programs!

Play Rugby in the Warm Weather of Orlando

After a very successful inaugural tournament, the Tropical 7s tournament will return to the Omni Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida. The renowned sport and leisure destination is only a 5 minute walk from the host hotels. Besides the location being very convienet, the fields are kept in professional shape and is nothing but perfection. As the Head Coach is the USA U18 Girls National Team Emilie Bydwell said, "This is some of the nicest grass the girls have ever played on and the weather has been great." When the fields are not being used for rugby, they are used to host many different teams including Stoke City FC, the New York Redbulls, and the USA Women's National Soccer team.

Take Advantage of Rugby Training Camps

Besides the excellent facilities and warm weathers, teams are encouraged to arrive before the tournament to begin to take part in training camps with other teams. Training camps are set up by both the USA and Canada National U18 Rugby Teams. During the training camps, teams will have access to balls and training equipment, access to top international coaches, and meeting rooms can be used at host hotels. Teams also have the ability to take part of controlled scrimmages against other teams and will also have the opportunity to participate in the Tropical 7s Athlete Combine. Pitch availability is flexible for teams who want to take advantage of this and are available the whole week leading up to the first day of games, March 31st.
