American International College defeated Rugby East powerhouse Penn State 34-27 in a see-saw contest on Nittany Lion turf to start the fall 2015 season.

AIC, who beat Bowling Green State at the ACRC Bowl Series last fall in a game Goff Gugby Report named its collegiate Match of the Year, got on the board first with a penalty kick in the ninth minute. The offense picked up after that as both teams logged multiple tries by halftime for a 17-15 Penn State lead.

It was still anyone's game in the 66th minute with the score tied at 27 before the Yellow Jackets took control, winning by a converted try.
