2015 ACRC Bowl Series Matchups
Friday Nov 20: Rugby Athletic Center
4:50 UMass vs NC State
Perennial East Coast Rugby Conference (ECRC) contender UMass and rising Atlantic Coast Rugby League (ACRL) power NC State are battle-tested after tough fall schedules and ready to prove it in Charlotte.
6:40 Notre Dame College vs Syracuse
Notre Dame College scored big wins this fall against Notre Dame, Kentucky and JMU, and are eager to test themselves against Empire Conference champs Syracuse.
8:30 Boston College vs Alabama
Alabama went 6-0 in the regular season to win the Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference (SCRC) west division. Boston College was an equally impressive 7-1 in the ECRC, falling only to AIC. This should be a great game to cap off Friday's action.
Saturday Nov. 21: New Rochelle, NY
1:00 Delaware vs Iona
In the one Bowl Series match not taking place in Charlotte, D1 power Delaware meets Iona, who joined the ranks of the nation's elite this fall with wins over Army and Stony Brook, in the #IceBucketChallenge bowl in New Rochelle.
Saturday Nov. 21: Rugby Athletic Center
11:20 St. Bonaventure vs Western Michigan
The Bonnies finished their season on a high note with three consecutive victories. They meet Mid America Conference runner-up Western Michigan, who went undefeated in regular-season play.
UNT won the Southwest Conference and the Texas Cup. They face a tough foe in Rutgers, who battled through a formidable fall schedule in the Keystone Conference.
3:00 Stony Brook vs Cincinnati
Stony Brook and Cincinnati both scored big wins this fall, the Bearcats over Bowling Green, and the Seawolves over Kings Point. This should be a dramatic, hard-fought match.
4:50 AIC vs Clemson
Atlantic Coast Rugby League champs (and local faves) Clemson earned the right to play top-ranked AIC in one of the series' most closely-watched games.
6:40 SCRC Championship: Tennessee vs South Carolina
The Southeastern Conference championship will be played on the Rugby Athletic Center field as the Vols battle the Gamecocks.
8:30 Indiana vs Kutztown
The Bowl Series wraps up with Big 10 champs Indiana playing Rugby East champs Kutztown in a huge test for both teams.
