This past weekend's action was characterized by hard-fought contests as teams gave their all in pursuit of postseason play.

SCRC: Tennessee Edges South Carolina

In a dramatic game in Columbia, SC, the University of Tennessee bested top SCRC East Division rival South Carolina 17-14. The win gives the Volunteers a #1 berth at the Nov. 14 conference semifinals, where they will play Florida leading up to the championship game at the ACRC Bowl Series in Charlotte on Nov. 21.

SWC: North Texas Earns ACRC Bid

The biggest game of the fall in the Southwest Conference pitted North Texas against rival Texas State in San Marcos. WIth the 25-8 victory, UNT earns a bid to the ACRC Bowl Series in Charlotte. Mean Green, who fell to UMass in last year's Bowl Series, are 2014-15 reigning Southwest Conference 15s and 7s Champions.

WJU Holds on to Defeat Delaware

Wheeling Jesuit outlasted a late run from the University of Delaware to claim a 29-20 victory on Friday in Newark. The Cardinals, who would turn around and beat Loyola the very next day, jumped out to an early lead and held on for the victory.

Bonnies Outlast Falcons

Notre Dame College came on strong but were defeated by St. Bonaventure 34-29. The Bonnies were up 24-7 at the half and withstood a second-half surge from a determined NDC squad (ranked #16 Goff) to claim the victory.

ACRL: Clemson Stays Unbeaten 

NC State hosted Clemson on Saturday for a battle between two unbeaten ACRL teams. The Tigers' 56-14 victory sets Clemson up to lock in the Atlantic Coast Rugby League championship for the third straight year if they can beat Virginia Tech on Nov. 14.

ECRC: AIC Wins Big in Springfield  

AIC pulled out the win against a tough UMass team. The Yellow Jackets were up 20-6 lead at the half after trailing for a time. Sophomore Jihad Khabir spearheaded an offensive show in the second half as AIC finished the game with 14 unanswered points.
