The SCRC Championship in sevens took place April 18 in Knoxville. The Tennessee Volunteers came in as the number two seed, looking to reclaim the SCRC 7's Championship, but came away with a loss in the plate final to number one seed South Carolina by a score of 19-15.
Alabama claimed the 2015 SCRC sevens championship with a 24-14 victory over Mississippi State. Alabama and MSU both went undefeated in pool play, with Alabama defeating Tennessee and Auburn while tying Florida. MSU went 3-0 with victories over LSU, Georgia and tournament favorite South Carolina.
