Coastal Carolina

Established in 2003, they are the official Coastal Carolina Rugby club which is part of the Southern Rugby Conference of the Carolinas. They have two official seasons, 15s in the fall and 7s in the Spring, but they also compete in exhibition matches throughout the year as well as an annual alumni game. They are a team of 40ish players that work together to win games and ultimately another National Championship, (National Champions in 2009).
We have made it to the playoffs every year except 2012 when we moved into Division II play during the spring season. 

Fall 2022 - Southern Rugby Conference Small College Champions

Spring 2023 - 4th in the nation in small college division

They have had over 75 all-star selections and one Olympic trial selection. 
You do not need to know how to play rugby, their job is to teach you to play and improve their team.
As a Coastal Carolina club team, they participate in school functions, community service projects, and other events around the Conway/Myrtle Beach area, such as frequent work at CCU concessions during football and baseball games.
