Georgetown University

The Georgetown University Rugby Football Club was founded in 1967 with a current membership of over 50 undergraduate students, competing in the Chesapeake Collegiate Rugby Conference Men's College Division I. Georgetown won the Potomac Rugby Union Championship in 2002, 2004, 2008 and won the MARFU Championship in 2005. 

Georgetown defeated the University of Oklahoma 31 - 5 to win the Bowl at the 2015 Las Vegas Invitational.

Since the spring, Georgetown reigns as the best team in the District of Columbia for winning its 14th straight Capitol Cup Championship. The Hoyas last qualified for the National Division II Final 4 in 2005 and 2009.
