Empire Rugby Conference

After an impressive 70-12 defeat of Binghamton Saturday, ACRC top team, Stony Brook University, stands at 3-0 in the Empire Conference, just behind Kings Point thanks to bonus points. 

East Coast Rugby Conference

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--American International College had success playing in the mud as they took down their Pioneer Valley rivals with a 34-8 win over the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. AIC improves to 4-0 on the fall campaign.

Ivy Rugby Conference

The Yale University Men’s Rugby Club has announced the hiring of Greg McWilliams as new head coach. McWilliams will be replacing longtime Yale men’s rugby coach Jan Pikul, who is stepping down due to family commitments.

Rugby East Conference

ACRC favorite, Kutztown opened their 2014 Fall season last weekend with a quick Canadian jaunt, visiting the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees and the Thunder of Algonquin College. 

Atlantic Coast Rugby League

Gainesville, Fla. - South Carolina Rugby traveled to Gainesville this past weekend and came out victorious over the Gators of the University of Florida in SCRC league play.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — High-level collegiate rugby competition comes to Charlotte, N.C. Nov. 21-22, 2014 with the inaugural American Collegiate Rugby Championships Bowl Series. This series of matches in traditional bowl format brings the very best college rugby teams from around the country to Charlotte’s Rugby Athletic Center, a sports and events venue located just three miles from downtown.

Mid America Conference

Bowling Green, Ohio. – Mid American Conference power, the Bowling Green Falcons, hosted the eighth ranked Davenport Panthers. The Panthers were off a two game losing streak falling to Penn State and Army, both strong contenders for the Rugby East Conference Championship.

The first Sevens tournament in the United States occurred during a 1959 Thanksgiving holiday Saturday in Manhattan sponsored by the New York RFC. The winner was an M.I.T. “A” team against an M.I.T. “B” squad.  Eight teams participated, all from the northeast.

It was an amazing weekend on the 80th Street Fields in beautiful Stone Harbor, NJ as close to 80 teams gathered for the 11th annual Surfside Sevens rugby tournament.

East Coast Rugby Conference

The ranking and match-ups were set after Saturday's pool play at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. The sun rose over the Atlantic Sunday on twelve teams stocked with talent and grit, each capable of beating any other on any given day. The question left to be decided was who would prove best on this day.
