The men’s rugby club of James Madison University will not be ignored. In fact, they seem to be popping up everywhere this spring—tied with Temple atop the leader board of the Keystone Conference 7s series; victorious in the Capital 7s in February; victorious over UNLV, Colorado and Lindenwood-Belleville on their way to a semifinal berth at the Las Vegas Invitational; the 15s side in a D1AA playoff game against Harvard this weekend; competing later this month at URugby Sevens-Virginia Beach—a full plate to be sure for the reigning Keystone conference 15s champs.

After their Cup championship victory in the 2016 Ariel Re Bermuda 7s, Dartmouth College paid a visit to the Beyond Rugby Bermuda program, an organization fostering positive lifestyles and academic achievement among Bermuda youth.

Greenwich Rugby came to the Ariel Re Bermuda 7s to win—and win they did. But they got much more out of the trip than just victory on the rugby pitch. Along with clinching the Cup in the Elite Boys division with a dramatic, overtime 12-7 win over West Chester, Greenwich got the Bermuda experience—beautiful beaches, blue skies and island culture. It all added up to a journey these high schoolers will never forget.

Keystone Rugby Conference

The 2016 Keystone Rugby Conference 7's Series heads to Temple University on April 2, 2016. It will be played at the 10th and Cecil B Moore turf field next to the Temple campus in North Philadelphia.
