The latest ACRC Coaches Poll has Kutztown at the top, with Army moving back past Penn State into #2 after Penn State's loss to KU.

Bowling Green defeated a well-regarded Western Michigan and moved up two places as a result. Indiana edged Michigan and they moved ahead of the Wolverines. Wheeling Jesuit lost to Davenport dropping three slots.

The competition doesn’t get any fiercer than in the Rugby East Conference, where some of the best teams in the nation go head-to-head. Last weekend did not disappoint, with an epic Penn State-Kutztown game that saw the Nittany Lions roar back late in the second half to within 8 points, but fail to catch the Bears.

The win means #3-ranked Kutztown shares the top spot in the standings with #5 Army. The two teams meet this weekend in West Point to determine the REC champion.

Where’s Nate Silver when you need him? The situation right now in the East Coast Rugby Conference is a statistician’s dream (or nightmare).

The Keystone Rugby Conference has seen more than its share of drama this fall as several teams vie for the chance to play a fellow conference champ at the ACRC Bowl Series.

There's a little bit of change in the ACRC Coaches Poll for this week. The top three of Kutztown, Penn State, and Army stay the same despite Army's win over Penn State earlier in the season. Army's close escape from Iona might be part of the reason, while PSU seems to be improving.
