The University of Florida Men's Rugby club competes in the Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference. Florida finished 5th in SEC fall 2014 15s play with a 4-2 record and had five players selected to the all-SEC teams.

The program was founded by two aussie ex-pats in 1969, quickly growing into an important sports club on campus such that in Feb 1970, a few short months after the first game, UF rugby participated in its first tournament, the Mardi Gras Tournament in Baton Rouge/New Orleans.

Head coach of the Gators is Ken Simmons. Todd Streeter is the assistant coach.
